you contact the J.H. Hawes Grain Elevator to schedule a visit, the Visit Coordinator
will work with you to determine what type of tour, program, or activity would
best suit your needs.
Several tours and programs are available for classes or groups visiting the J.H. Hawes Grain Elevator Museum. The major learning outcomes for these activities are as follows:
- Students will gain an appreciation for the historical significance of the Hawes Elevator.
- Students will gain an understanding of the purpose of a grain elevator and how it works.
